Pierre Courtin, about "Dé-naturé": "Mes premières réflexions furent autour d'une cyber-nature. Comment, au travers du prisme numérique, un écosystème peut-être décomposé, vu, compris et recomposé. Avec son lot d'erreurs, d'approximations et de mésinterprétations. Puis les pièces ont petit à petit pris un autre sens : celui des cicatrices urbaines sur notre environnement. Une traduction de la mélancolie d'habitant des villes. Entre mémoire de l'arbre, vaine évocation du naturel et réalité résiduelle, nous sommes ici face à un écosystème balafré, ayant perdu toute substance. Une nature dé-naturée."
