As a kid, I always thought the scene where Lucas gets jealous of Cappie was stupid.. "If you're so depressed, how come you're eating pizza? GO, eat pizza.. don't let ME spoil your depression..." even though Lucas knew the answer already..

So yeah, 30 years later, decided to make a dance mix using that awful quote (was supposed to be like "Batdance" by Prince with Lucas stuff instead, but morphed into a Depeche Mode type dance track). But as usual, one mix became 2, then 5, then 10.....

Thirteenth Antistandard Records release is the debut of sardinian producer Phasz, with a pair of rough and minimal bass music tunes that brings pure fire.

Currently based in Milan, he's part of the Antistandard dj/producer residents from the beginning of 2020. Having collaborated with the producer Distorted Drill and released music on Bass Agenda (UK), Hilltown Disco (Scotland) and Division Virtuel (France), as well as being part of the Kрасная Tень beats project, in january 2018 he graduated at SAE Institute Milan in audio engineering.
These two basic bassline tracks, made in the same year, present a standard simple structure, but enhance a smooth yet heavy character: the power of the kick and the bass, accentuated by the dubstep-oriented remix by Mengo, part of the Midnight Resistance Hi-Fi sound system from Bari. Dance our damned shit, brother.

✮ Phasz, class 92, was born in Sardinia and artistically grew up between Alghero, Paris and Milan. His roots came from hip hop foundations, mixed subsequently with all genres of electronic music, with heavy UK influences. The MC from Naples presents maybe the first ever Italian grime official album with characteristic beats although UK inspired, with some featurings by the 90% of the Italian grime scene and a couple of remixes, declaring that the grimey sounds in Italy aren't born precisely yesterday.

✮ Yodaman is considered one of the Italian grime pioneers.
Between Naples and Milan begins a prolific hosting activity both on the radio and in the live performances that leads him in a short time also on important stages such as the Outlook Festival and supporting some of the most important exponents of the world bass scene including Mala, Gantz, Commodo, Kaiju, Ivy Lab, Macabre Unit, Capo Lee, VIVEK and Geode.
He releases DIY the singles "Niente Di Vero", produced by Macabre Unit and later remixed by Yodaman's older brother Deadroom, and after "Chiove" accompanied by a special UKG remix by the NUMA Crew. Also interviewed by Red Bull Music to talk about the relationship between grime music and Italian culture, he appears in other Italian grime projects such as "Showgun" by Ninjaz MC and "Amazon Grime" by Ganji Killah.

✮ With two EPs straight self-released with the M.O.A.N. moniker with the Think'd rap on it (bit.ly/2EUbfYf - bit.ly/2Fv1KLX), Hypertone remixing a dialect grime stuff for the VVV001. Based on the Royal-T "Shotta" remix by Kahn & Neek, he review in a melodic/soundtrack key the entire structure, maintaining the original track's violence also for the lyrics.
