Gloomy music for those who feel everything and keep it inside.
Liberated Turmoil makes brooding, electronic music. The kind that holds a feeling in place rather than explains it.
It began in EBM and techno, with spoken-word vocals moving through industrial landscapes. The voice was present but partially hidden, sewn into rhythm, existing at the edges of the sound.
Then something shifted. The music slowed and opened up, and the voice changed with it. It became melodic, exposed, asking to be carried rather than concealed. That shift was personal before it was musical.
Her upcoming third album is where that transformation fully arrives. Sung in both Russian and English, it is the most direct thing she has made. Nothing at the edges. Everything present.
