VVV004 / Qzerty ✮ Faux Italic

The fourth release of Antistandard Records, in collaboration with Faro Records, is the return of 1/2 of Redrum Alone electronic pop duo, Qzerty.

His research continues with the second solo EP called Faux Italic, between a basic breakbeat style and hypnotic samples with fx processing, that create a short but mature vision of electronic music.

✮ Qzerty is the solo project by Tommaso Danisi, sound engineer and founder of the electronic duo Redrum Alone. The tools of the trade are the same: drum machines, samplers, effects. The field of action is different: we talk about electronics but the suggestions / congestions come from the expanded dubstep of the Hyperdub catalog and the well-known masters of the Aphex Twin and Four Tet environment. The result is a soft light sound journey made of instrumental routines assembled ad hoc. The viewer is hypnotized by synthetic mantras and conducted in apparently reassuring territories where percussive transients and stylophones that are believed electric guitars await him to bring it back to bare reality. credits released December 26, 2018
